Shenzii Same. Gembounds are the only "Rare" breeds since you can make any of the other potions in rapid succession once you have three explorers, two herbalists and an alchemist. :L

I completely and utterly agree. Gembound doesn't have a recipe; you have to buy the potion with furdollars. In this case, that species seems to be the only one valid for this stupid of a reason.

I would understand it if that paintie got removed if they just copy-pasted the "real" tail from that dutch angel but if they drew it themselves, I do not really see the issue :(

I thought the rule was keep the species base still looking like the species of the character. Like if the paintie still looked it was using the base appropriate to the character, then the rare species thing should not be a problem. Because you're not really using the rare species base, you're just using a part for a paintie.

Also 'rare' species, You staff members realize those species are easy to obtain if you get enough supplies or if have friends from other villages who would help. If anything that "no parts from rare species" rule falls flatter than a piece of paper, thanks to the reasons stated above.

I can absolutely understand uploading /rare/ species parts if they deemed so, but in removing the precludes or already uploaded painties of those who have already had them approved. Hope everything gets resolved soon, and I love your original! <3

Yeah this happened to me today with my villager Draco, I'd just used the tail and even modified it to have a triple layer of feathers because I needed a peacock look, rejected. Tore the layered feathers I'd modded and blended them onto the otter tail and it got accepted so bleh. I'm waiting for them to retroactively remove Lunesta because he's got the dutch tail but got approved six days ago way before this stuff started happening so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they sniff him out since it's looking like no one's getting grandfathered in since they haven't even updated their rules yet.

I'm worried about uploading any future painties if this is the way the site is going to handle things; one of my upcoming painties is a Dutch Angel Dragon with horse features and dragon wings... so how likely would it be to get rejected thanks to this new rule. It seems rather unfair.

Well this is upsetting. There's no actual rule about it. She still looked like a fox, They need to clarify the rules and get everyone on the same page, Because obviously there's more rules than listed in the painty rule section.
