Why yes, it is a squid in a jar, and it assures you it is, in fact, a squid and not a cuttlefish in a jar. No one can figure out why it's in a jar, but the best guess is that it was a preserved specimen that, for whatever reason, carried the jar over the threshold into the After Life with it. Maybe it thinks it's comfortable? Only the Squid knows, and it's can't talk. It's a squid.
Do not shake the jar. It does not like that.

I love this. I'd leave a little bow next to the jar to make it pretty, but then that might block the squid's vision... I love this little fella. I hope they go far in their afterlife.
