Wanderer and seeker who functions well on little sleep, Beliel is known for his willingness to listen to anybody's problems and lend guidance when needed. He is an expert judge of character, attentive and nurturing with a natural inclination to take care of others.
Self-appointed caretaker to his supremely salty elder half-brother Musette, Beliel procures rare artifacts and treasures in his adventures and then sells them to museums and collectors to make ends meet, sometimes taking on odd jobs for the lucrative Orinus or joining the Bone Reader Corvo on his scavenging trips. Despite his brothers arrogance and their problematic history together Beliel feels responsible for Musette's hardships, and having made some rather poor life choices of his own for his skill sets compassion comes all too easy for him; necromancy, it's a bitch.
Beliel often retreats to see his old mentor Artayir or his friend and trusted confidant, Shawyen along with the historians amiable, morally ambiguous cousin Malyik. Romantically involved with one Izrafel, and although fully committed to their relationship, he struggles working up the courage to address the next phase: finally moving in together.
