A daft little sphinx that no-one seems to take seriously... I wonder why.
Ammon enjoys hearing riddles! They want to hear your best ones! ...What do you mean it's the sphinx that's supposed to give out the riddles? No, they're sure you have that wrong. Sphinxes are supposed to answer the riddles! It's always been that way!
They also like making sculptures out of the desert sands, catching fish and rolling around at the oasis. Ammon would enjoy flying, except they're not very good at it. In fact they're a terribly clumsy aeronaut.
Don't worry about the snake-headed tail, it doesn't bite! Well... Most of the time. Nearly always never.
