Map Exploit

Maps have temporarily been disabled due to information about an existing exploit becoming public. They'll be enabled again once this issue has been resolved.
Maps are no longer marked as maps, but any maps you craft or had previously will still exist within your inventory. There is currently no estimated time for a fix.
Unfortunately, we have to take a harsh stance when it comes to intentional exploiting of mechanics like this. Thank you to people who reported the issue and simply moved on. People who may have accidentally used the exploit or otherwise simply done it once or twice out of curiosity need not worry, however. We'll be investigating on case-by-case basis. If you suspect another player of cheating, please report them using the standard report feature.
Update: You can no longer add plunder to your hoard from your inventory. You can still use the convert-all function.
Although it does say you can convert all to plunder with the feature. No idea if they mean on the plunder page only or from your inventory.
You simply can't. They've disabled you being able to do that. It's stuck in your inventory till they "fix" the issue. :/
Okay but how am I supposed to convert mythic statues? I just converted all my stuff to plunder again and I still have a gold mythic statue in my inventory. It says I can convert it to plunder, but I don't want to get in trouble or lose the item...
Nothing. You really can only get what you get every 2 hours now.
Okay but for some reason I can only turn mythic statues into plunder points from doing so in my inventory, so what am I supposed to do with them now?
How are we supposed to upgrade our boats if we can't use maps at all? Can we even make maps still? Do we still get map fragments from exploring? What are we supposed to do to get plunder?
The 2 hour thing is worthless to me since I can't upgrade my ship and get barely any plunder points from it. I have little time to play due to work as it is, so my plunder was from maps I crafted. To have these taken away now makes it impossible for me to get everything I want in time.
First time having a chance of joining in an FV event and this happens. Ah well. And I spent real money to get SOME help with the event too. What a waste of time and money.

We'll extend the event if it takes awhile to fix. You can keep collecting fragments and plunder in the mean time, though.

We're not particularly worried about a few people accidentally trying or following their curiosity. If players have clearly gained thousands of extra points, we will need to take action.
Sparkleunidog there is still the 2 hourly think the boat gives you (i think it was 2 hours)

Wait, so does this mean we can't do anything to get plunder points now?
Well there goes my chance to get any of the items I wanted before the event ends in a few days. Lovely. :/
