Incoming Sales Tax

Furvilla is in the process of implementing a FurCash sales tax for the user shops. When a player sells an item to another player for FurCash, a sales tax of 5% will be removed from the purchase price, and the remainder will be deposited into the shop till as normal. The goal of this addition is to help sink small amounts of FurCash and ensure the strength of the currency. When calculating the tax, it will be 5% of the total, rounded down, with a minimum of 1 FurCash.
This change will be implemented in forty-eight hours or at 2:00 AM Furvilla Time on August 17th, so please be sure to alter your item prices if desired before that deadline.
In addition, the Moth Morphing Potion has been released into Olde Foxbury, and three new species colors are released -- Culpeo Fox, Long Eared Owl, and Osprey Raptor. We have also completed construction of the Trades page, which allows players to trade villagers, items, and currency freely. The link to the Trades page is located on the Town Hall.
This is stupid.
I mean, this is almost identical to the "processing fee" the Flight Rising's auction house has, but this is still kind of annoying, haha. I don't want to have to think about taxes on a furry pet site.
Also, with a change like this that can effect many users, why isn't this being voted on? We have no say about something that's going to effect how we play?
Wait, so where is the taxed Furcash going to go? Are you also going to fix the issue of items being sold for infinitely more than they are worth? I don't understand how a tax is going to help. This is virtual currency.

I completely agree with your ideas. Adding any of them will help far more than this ridiculous tax.
Have you sent them through the "contact us" system yet? It seems the staff won't even look at suggestions that are submitted any other way. PLEASE submit your comments through that form!

how would a tax, so small, stop something like this i mean.
it's literally the only currency besides FD, which not.. .Many use?
Honestly you should've just left it alone, or asked us what we thought would work.
This is going to be a disaster, not to mention I don't believe these taxes are going anywhere, or to anyone, now are they.
You're literally having us throw money into the void.
Maybe add a trade feature where you can just put a trade up and anyone can offer on it. :I
We don't need a tax, it's hard enough for normal users to make FC. Sure, a small 1% have lots of FC but most of us dont....
