Hi again everyone!

Just catching everyone up on the goings-on behind the scenes.

First off, we're working on a solution for pumpkin guts. It should leave most people with roughly the same amount of pumpkin guts - the values will be generated from your herbalist logs, and then adjusted based on your purchase/sale logs.

This process won't be perfect, and we'll have a thread open for case-by-case solutions when we're at that stage. Please note that this is just the current plan, and we may need to consider other options - we'll keep players informed of any changes, however.

Unfortunately, the 2017 Jack-O-Lanterns cannot be restored this way, and is a lower priority over all. However, if you've lost a significant number of the collectible version of the Jack-O-Lantern, we can look at restoring them manually. Please PM me directly to do so.

We're looking to add a consume all candy button as a temporary solution to overloaded inventories.
Due to feedback, you'll instead be able to donate all your food items in your inventory to the food drive in a single click. This is currently on the top of the coding list.

The Pumpkin growing competition's conclusion has been delayed, with the new target date being the 21st of November. Please note that the Hat / Pies may not have their functionality ready by this date, but will still be awarded at this stage.

The Dragon's Maw Festival will officially conclude on this date as well, with the following occurring:
- There will be a second purge of pumpkin-related items (excluding Pumpkin Guts and 2017 Jack-O-Lantern collectibles).
- The Candy Shop will be closed; left over points will be lost.
- Per above, the competition rewards will be distributed.
- We will all be free!

This is unfortunate but not unexpected; custom items will be delayed until after the above issues are resolved. Details on this will be revealed next week.

Following Dragon's Maw event's closure, there will be no new major events for a time while we work on other on-site issues. However, the existing events will appear at their scheduled intervals (such as the snow festival), with some balance and mechanic tweaks.

Explorer & Warrior events will still appear regularly.

Unfortunately, in perhaps the saddest news of all, our soup overlords are moving on to new lands.

You'll have a week to purchase Soup Vistas and Stickers from the recycle shop before they retire (don't worry - they're retiring to a life of luxury).

We've been having a lot of issues with bugs lately, and consequently we've had a lot of bug reports. We've had a flurry of reports on the same issues, and this makes it difficult to isolate reports on unique issues so we can target and resolve them, especially if we can do so without additional coding.

Before you submit a bug report, please check out this thread.

If you have a pressing technical issue that has yet to be resolved and isn't on the above list, please PM me directly.

If you have a community related issue that remains unresolved, please contact Admin-Mat .

A certain.. friendly NPC is going to help out with item upgrades in the mean time, for a modest price. Keep an eye out for their post if you're looking to increase the potency on some of your items (or add new sockets).

This little devil is going to get a hard-counter item. Keep an eye out for that too!

1906-bright-sky-dragon-scales.png
The new "Warehouse" exploration event had an issue where it was incorrectly generating items that it shouldn't of been. I'll be looking to take it down briefly tomorrow to update the list of items it can generate to specific ones instead of generic "Reagents".

That's all for now!

    • I would honestly prefer a consume all over a donate all option for the candy. Would it be possible to get both options implemented?

    • Oops! Nevermind I found the candy stash button. My bad XD

    • Okay, so, we won't be able to convert our inventoried candy to shop points? Damn. I have exactly enough to get one more 2o17 Jack-o-Lantern. Well, I mean, I would if I could combine my candies with my shop balance. Seems like such a waste..

    • A consume all button would have been great... If I didn't leave over 1,000 pieces of candy in my Jack o lanterns to have it disappear the next day. XP
I left it because I didn't have the inventory room and I missed out. :( Oh well. The event was fun anyway. Thank you! :)

    • Oh, I see. That's quite a lot of work if your going to do this with everyone. Well, thanks for answering my questions!

    • I hope we can upgrade items that are higher than 120%... I've been waiting for this option for a long time, especially adding sockets! Maybe instead of making it unobtainably expensive, limit the upgrades to one per account per week/month? Especially since it will be done manually. Make your monthly "appointment" with Puck. :D

    • Finally the chaos of fog is gone , we can see the light of hope again.
Also , good work of item upgrade NPC , hope it will be a good FC sink and bring the BS back to life.

    • So,,, are? We ever going to be able to convert the candy from our Stash (of which I have like 6k haha) into the store or is that just...... Is that just completely bust? Because if i had KNOWN that we wouldn't be able to I would have, y'know, converted it... (so that I could buy like, at least 120 more 2017 Jack O' Lanterns)

    • Ralecune

Basically you'll send the item to the NPC, indicate what you'd like done with it, and a new item (plus any crystals in the old item) will be sent back to you with the changes.

A single socket will be affordable, but prices will climb rather quickly from there. I expect most people to upgrade items from the 50 - 120% range, though the prices need to be suitable enough to dissuade people from upgrading all their items as this is something that will be done manually.

    • I'm gonna pretend you're letting me down so I'll be pleasantly surprised. :)
      (kidding, mostly.)

Thank you for putting together these weekly reports; it's really very appreciated in transparency and site management.
