Account Safety

Hello everyone!
This news post is a general reminder to stay mindful and vigilant about keeping your online accounts safe. Make sure to change your passwords regularly and try not to use the same password in every place. Check on any of your inactive accounts to make sure it has not been compromised and change your passwords immediately if a data breach has happened. If you know any inactive Furvilla users feel free to remind them to check in on their Furvilla accounts to make sure everything is still secure. If you notice any suspicious behavior or activities going on make sure to alert a moderator either through filing a Report or sending a message to one directly.
That's all for now.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Thanks for the reminder! Another small tip: use multiple E-mail addresses, and keep some of them 100% a secret. If a hacker can't figure out which E-mail address is tied to your account or 2FA, it's a lot harder for them to pry into your business. If you list your contact info publically or use a caard, ask yourself if the info you're offering to the world reveals any patterns about yourself. Break your patterns, mix up your usernames,
consider not sharing that info so freely, and always keep your "security stuff" E-mail unlisted! As someone currently almost 2 months into dealing with a company that was "hacked" because of something similar to this.... Please for the love of all: keep passwords rotating and don't open links or files from people that you're not expecting links or files from. My paychecks have been amazing from all of the overtime I've had to work to get the company back up and running... but it's really not worth all of the mental pain that my department has had to go through to get the company back up and running...
... and no; after almost 2 months, we're still not back up and running 100%.
Thanks for the reminders!
