Sailing Away...To Find Treasure!

Ready to get started with your treasure hunting? Get your Crafter set as your active, and head on over to the event page and pick a boat!
This is kind of a little boat though, huh? There may be sharks... you're going to need a bigger boat!
Boat items are needed to upgrade, but how do you get them, you might ask?
Some cool new recipes have shown up in your Crafter's career page (if you don't remember how to get there, click on the career shield next to your active villager!). See that treasure map in the bottom corner of the page? You're going to want to craft treasure maps to help you find the items necessary to craft your new recipes! Simple, huh?
Treasure Map Fragments are found by exploring... So be sure to get your explorers all equipped and ready to investigate every crevice and overturn every stone! Soon as you have the necessary number of Treasure Map Fragments, you'll be able to craft a Treasure Map, and then you can find boat upgrade items.
Treasure Maps are needed to find items like the above, which can be used in the Crafter recipes to create boat upgrades.
Let's see who can build the biggest boat, huh? The bigger the boat, the better the plunder!
But what are you going to do with all that loot, you might ask? Well, aside from creating a sizable hoard like a sea dragon, you can trade in your plunder for special event items in the Treasure Trove! which will open in a week.
And it looks like it’s almost time again for the Leodon to make their migration to Oceandome... Perhaps as soon as within the next week!
I believe that brings us to the end of our announcement! Just a few tidbits to wrap up here...
- The Treasure Trove Shop will open a week into the event on August 24th.
- All materials related to the event will be removed from your account at the end of the event, except for the plunder items, which won't be able to be added to your plunder anymore, but can be kept as collectibles.
- You'll have two weeks after the event to spend any remaining plunder points before the shop is removed and the points are lost.
- To get started on the event, all you have to do is explore. Note that drop rates & prices are subject to change due to player feedback.
- If you didn't set a Crafter before selecting a boat and do not have the recipes as a result, they can be bought at The Recycling Shop
- Event ends at 11:59 PM on August 31st
Now get out there and find that treasure!

Hey everyone! Just some quick updated information:
Due to technical difficulties, we've had to duplicate items with new 2018 versions for the Festival this year. This is to prevent a potential exploit.
We'll have more details regarding the festival soon, so keep an eye out for that!
Additionally, the Lion's Pride battleground is no longer available. Item Upgrade Ticket now costs 1750 Valour Points instead of 3500 (If you've used a ticket before this update, you may be able to negotiate a free trade with the Traveler); please note that there may be some delays processing these requests.

Hi all! Just a quick announcement to let you know that the Pride battleground will be unavailable from the 15th of August - they'll be back, though!
Additionally the Item Upgrade Ticket (used for trades with NPC-Traveler ) will be getting a 1,000 valour point discount at the same time. If you've previously made a trade using the ticket, you may be able to negotiate a free trade as well - more details on this soon.
We're still working on the specifics for the PvP tournament, so hang tight on that! That's all for now!

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you have a little time to chat about Plantimals with me today...What is a Plantimal? Well they are part of our new Monthly feature, grow-able minipets!

The August 2018 Seeds are here! Let's see what we have for this month...

Growing Your New Friend!
Step 1: Finding a Seed
It’s time to break out your Explorers and put them to work! Seeds can be found in special explore events (there is one per village and they were all written by our wonderful Mod-Pseudonym).
Step 2: Fertilizer
Every Plantimal Seed will require fertilizer, the Fancy Plant Drink to be exact (recipe can be found in the Recycle shop). And one important ingredient for this recipe is Compost, Compost is made from expired food items. Compost is generated on your Herbalist’s page by turning in your expired foods (you get one Compost per Feast Point that a food item is worth). Once you have all your ingredients ready, it’s time to put your Alchemist to work crafting up that Fancy Plant Drink!
Step 3: Growth and Harvest
Now that you have your Fancy Plant Drink ready, it’s time to plant your Seed and grow your new little buddy! Plantimal Seeds work just like normal seeds, simply go to your Herbalist’s page and plant them in one of your pots, after the seed is planted you add your fertilizer and wait, soon enough you will have a Plantimal to call your very own.
Quick Info!
-Plantimals are Minipets but they are only available through their seeds as they are not breedable. They also do not have scaled color rarities (and may look vastly different from each other, unlike most minipet sets)
-Every month each Furvilla Village will get 1 new Plantimal Seed that is unique to that village.
-We encourage users to trade any extra seeds that get with users from other villages, but don’t worry if you can’t collect them all right away, they’ll be back.
-Seeds will retire at the end of their month (no longer findable but still grow-able), but they will return when their release month rolls around again (August 2018 seeds will reappear in August 2019 ect.)!

The August FD Pets are here! Let's check out what we have for this month...
First up we’ve got the Dobhar-Chu! Playful little water loving friends to enjoy the end of summer with!

FD Pets can be obtained from the FurDollar Emporium. They have five day breeding cool downs and are available for breeding until September 1st, when a new batch of FD Monthlies will be released.

Beep Boop! Coding Corner!

Hello everyone, just have a couple quick announcements for you this afternoon!
Updates For July 28 2018:
1. Notes for user blocks (these will only be visible to the user that has done the blocking, they are for your personal records).
2. Currency transfers can now be cancelled, and must be accepted/declined by the receiving party.
3. All three Shifty-type villagers will now have Shifty listed as their "Genus" instead of species, and users can set custom species & color in their Shifty's villager settings.
4. Recycle Shop stock sorting and pagination (Keepsake and Outfit items now have their own tabs to help prevent a bit of the clutter).
Coding is also just about done for our new Grow-able Mini Pet feature so things look to be on schedule for release sometime on August 1st (after a bit more quick testing)!

With the new Helpers also comes the new section in the forums, Helper Central! It’s a wonderful area for new and regular players! In this area you can find guide and seek help. For our new players, you can introduce yourselves as well into the community. There is also a section for each one of our helpers to introduce themselves so you can get comfy with who they are! Lastly, the Adopt Me section is for users who specifically want a guide as they get adjusted into our game.
