Yeah, the plushies are really desired. Actuall, the other person who commented on Skittles just joined today, and I helped her get a magic snake plush since she couldn't get any feathers in time. It was thanks to a donation thread I had joined call TEST OF KINDNESS. They helped me get some bee morphing potions to start a raffle for others in need of them, helped me get some plushies I wanted, and have help her and many others. If you want to jump in it's still going.

Just keep at it, and if you plan on breeding get that out of the way before you start the taming. It can take a while for a Furry to learn how to tame an animal. The good news though is if you completely train an animal, you will always have a successful taming with that type of animal in the future! (From my experience anyway)
