The trick to battling lightning resistance is fire attacks. Though with my armor I am only at -300 fire resistance. I have a better setup with my fire form amulet but don't do well with those with lightning attacks which there are a few that use lightning including me with my lightning staff :3
That was a good battle. You do seem to pack a punch on the damage.
It is a combination of a lot of sockets on my flawless steel buckler and an enchanted ring. That and my ascended serpent mail helps too

You do not need to do that. The build you are testing seems immensely strong! I'd suggest keeping with it.
