There is a gold-plated pin on this monster's tailcoat.
It is in the shape of Olde Foxbury's "emblem," representing its village of origin.
Somewhere at the border of Olde Foxbury & Dragonsmaw Manor,
there is a skunk who goes by the name of Winifred.
He runs a not-so-secret program of "rehabilitating" the very monsters that terrorize the Villages.
This is his first successful "rehabilitated subject" :
a Twisted One called the "Librarian."
This "rehabilitation" involves using a Shifty Morphing Potion.When used in a certain way, the effects can be used to produce different results.
The main use for Winifred is to give monsters "sapience" using the potion, but a side effect is that it may slightly affect their appearance.
[/center]The "Librarian" was a normal Twisted One before its rehabilitation, but the Shifty potion has caused some notable changes: its skin to smooth out, its horns to solidify into bone, and it has grown coarse hair over its back.
By consequence of changing a majority of its form, it is more Shifty than a Twisted One and is categorized as such.
[center]To mitigate this, and to make the Twisted One more "acceptable for society," he had a custom tailor-made suit for the monster, and gave it a pin to wear with it.

Winifred has set the Librarian up to manage... a library. This library holds all sorts of books that are free to borrow and read, as a public library should, but the Librarian is very strict on certain rules...
Much of these rules go along the lines of:
"you yell in the library, YOU LEAVE."
"you tear up the books, YOU LEAVE."
"you run in the isles, YOU LEAVE."
And so on and so fourth...
And there is one particular rule that stands out from the rest:
"you try to pet the Librarian, YOU LEAVE. FOREVER."
Whenever someone is kicked out of the library, the Librarian grabs you by the scruff or tail with its VERY GUM-Y OLD MAN MOUTH and drags you out and, very gently, drops you on the porch.
And slams the door in your face.
However, those who try to pet or touch the Librarian is
actually flung out the door by its massive horns.
So far 2 people have been kicked out in this way.
Sometimes Shooney appears in the library.
They're usually found somehow stuck in the chair cushions or curled up in the corner.
The Librarian doesn't mind Shooney's presence.
Sometimes they just stare at each other for a minute before the Librarian walks away.
How does a Twisted One stare without eyes, nobody knows. Maybe we will never know.
Why are they so CUTE? XD
I haven’t seen any villagers based on the monsters warriors encounter, so this is really cool!
