Villager: Severance

Boasting magical skills, Severance generally keeps to himself. He has worked to gain control over his abilities for most his life, his specialty being in storm control and illusions. He appreciates book learning, but doesn't shy away from getting his claws dirty in exploration. For all his skill, however, he has a blank spot in his mind of who and what exactly he is. All his studies and exploration are ultimately for the hope that he'll one day find the answers he so desperately craves.

His closest, and perhaps only, friend is the warrior wolf Sovereign. The wolf saved the sorcerer from certain death in the forest outside of Olde Foxbury, and the two started a slow and careful friendship. Severance is constantly at odds with Sovreign's father and brother, the wolf's family harboring an extreme distaste and mistrust of magic. Severance is doing his best to keep his and Sovreign's budding romance under wraps, out of fear for his life.

Severance does have an odd sort of shadow in another of Foxbury's lone dragons. Solivagus always seems to be at hand whenever Severance is actually in the village proper, the two sharing habits and mannerisms. Occasionally the two even speak and act in tandem. For all the unsettling feelings the situation provides, Severance gets the feeling that Solivagus has something to do with those answers he's looking for.
