Map Exploit

Maps have temporarily been disabled due to information about an existing exploit becoming public. They'll be enabled again once this issue has been resolved.
Maps are no longer marked as maps, but any maps you craft or had previously will still exist within your inventory. There is currently no estimated time for a fix.
Unfortunately, we have to take a harsh stance when it comes to intentional exploiting of mechanics like this. Thank you to people who reported the issue and simply moved on. People who may have accidentally used the exploit or otherwise simply done it once or twice out of curiosity need not worry, however. We'll be investigating on case-by-case basis. If you suspect another player of cheating, please report them using the standard report feature.
Update: You can no longer add plunder to your hoard from your inventory. You can still use the convert-all function.
I bet everyone who got thousands of PP will regret it when they're banned :p
Is the time gong to get extended again because of this? This is the one day I was going to be able to get lots of this done...
Ughhh, a day that I can actually explore and do things and this happens. I'm never going to get enough time to plunder enough booty for a second plushie. D:

I hope it gets fixed soon.. I'm still in tier 1 with my boat and I need materials to make the last piece.. T_T People are getting behind just because we can't upgrade..

I just need a few more Cherry planks and Deluxe Sail (actually I might have enough of planks, i can't remember since I switched crafter to explorer), I'm itching to upgrade ;n; I can't imagine how other people must be feeling, not being able to upgrade their boats and in effect are behind...
Whatever you're doing, do it quick. I want to be able to use the treasure maps again so I can get more treasure. I also want to be able to get treasures into my hoard from my inventory again. Certain treasures can only be added through the inventory.
Oh darn, I was hoarding maps to use all at once. Will they become useable again before the event ends?
As for the adding plunder from your inventory I hope the gold statues get fixed then cause that was the only way to add them. I was unaware of any exploits, I'll just continue collecting map fragments. This is my first event I've done on the site and it's been really fun.
In addition to my previous comment, the convert all button has not worked for a large portion of my treasures - they simply are sitting in my inventory, unused and unable to be converted now that you have removed the individual conversion feature.
