Hey everyone!
It's a bit sad to say, but we've had an influx of multi-accounters lately; people have intentionally been exploiting the mass award system to gain multiple copies of various items. This sort of behaviour is extremely unfair on those who play legitimately.
Previously we updated the rules to state that multi-accounters will have all their currency wiped. People have claimed this is unfair - and while I agree to some extent that losing all your progress is unfair, cheating & exploiting the economy is a serious offense, and there's no simple way to go through and decide what items are legitimate due to the extensive amount of trading players do.
To that end, I'd like to remind people to stop multi-accounting. If you are multi-accounting currently, please send a report - you won't receive an infraction, and we'll manually track down and remove items where appropriate. This amnesty period only applies through to Jan 1.
To reinforce the message:
If you do not come forward with a report, when you are caught multi-accounting all items and currency will be removed from your account. You will not be able to appeal this.
Honestly. If you are breaking the site rules to that extent and exploiting, then crying that wiping all your stuff - even if some of it is legit - is unfair - you deserve a permanent ban.Unfair? Seriously? You're cheating and abusing the system so the just punishment is unfair? I find it unfair you're still allowed to exist and play here at all after that. I find it unfair (and no offense to the mods) that you are even given a chance to come forward and not be punished. I can respect the decision to give people a chance to be truthful and honest and rectify their ways, but crying that wiping is not fair because YOU are making that mistake of multiaccounting is absolutely ridiculous.
it was already a rules so i think they should still get an infraction. like i get that y'all think this would make people come forward to like weed them all out.....but :/
my friend sent me some items when they stopped playing, is that an issue?
i sometimes go over to my friends place and log on while i'm over there, should i send a report or is that not much of a problem?
Will you guys be addressing the mass amount of spam accounts while you're at it?
I see them being made daily, usually with weird links in their bios (there's a crap load of them on the last page alone). You know exactly which ones they are too because they all have a weirdly spelled name with a number at the end with a similarly named bat villager. SO many of them it seems futile to report them all.
I usually log in from my phone, which is sometimes on the same internet as my sister's account~ do we need to report this somewhere specific to be safe?
I will be sharing an IP with Raenec in the future. Though they quit a while back, I just don't want it to look like a multi account situation at that point.
There is a second account on my IP Reapersong it's my brothers account. he doesn't play much but I don't want it to be deleted just in case he decides to come back to the game
Going against the rules has consequences, and those who do shall face them! Keep up the good work furvilla team, you're doing a good job combating those of the players who play unfairly!
Just gonna let yall know now before you come asking, Judgment19 is my fiance and we live together so we should have like the same land thingy?? And he trades me stuff every now and then when I talk about cool furvilla stuff cause he loves me XD
