Heya my fluffy, feathery, and sometimes scaly furriends!
Hope you are all having a wonderful summer! I just want to give you all a heads up that we have a downtime scheduled for August 25th, this Tuesday, starting at 8 PM Furvilla time. The primary purpose of this downtime will be to test for the upcoming Oceandome Festival, which is planned to start at the end of the week. Stay tuned for details!

August Feast Minipets
Plantimals!
As mentioned in last month's news, Plantimal Seeds will no longer be available while exploring. Instead, you may now purchase seed packets from the Cottage Shoppe
When opened, each packet will contain 5 seeds, 1 of each variety stated on the package. Remember, your Herbalists may plant a Plantimal Seed and fertilize with a Fancy Plant Drink to yield a special animal.

Congratulations to Olde Foxbury for winning the Grande Tourney!
Your citizens have fought persistently and valiantly, and all of Furvilla extends their paws to you in celebration!

If you have participated in this year's Tourney, please make sure that you head on over to the Festival Shoppe to pick up your trophy.

Also, as a memento for the winners, all participants may pick up a free 2020 Tourney Champion Emblem wearable souvenir in the shoppe as well.

Please pick up your trophy and emblem before the shop closes next weekend. Also make sure to spend any remaining shoppe points before then as well. Remember, you may keep coins until next year, but any unspent points will expire at the end of the event.
If you have been using the blessed Grande Melee weapons, you will notice they have now gone to sleep until next year, when they will again awaken once again to fight! Any leftover chests will not be able to be opened until next year. The redemption code is now inactive.

Past Event Trophies - Redemption Ending
Going forward, all festival trophies will only be available during the festival and its respective shop opening. In the past, we often gave trophies at the end of an event and other festival-related items via codes in the news. On July 25th, all previous trophy codes and festival-specific item codes in news posts will no longer be active. If you wish to have these trophies and items and have not yet obtained them, please do so by that date.
This does not apply to any non-festival pet or other prize codes at this time. New players will still be free to pick up past holiday pets, special prizes, etc.
To all who participated in the Grande Tourney, thank you. No time like the present to start training for next year!

The Olde Foxbury Festival is here!

Come one, come all!
Come and prove your villager's strength at the 4th annual Olde Foxbury Festival!
The Festival's prize Shoppe will open on July 11th, and the Shoppe will close at 11:59pm on July 25th.
New Festival Currency
Royal Coins will be available by participating in the Tourney as well as in a special festival-exclusive Grande Melee battleground.
Shiny new currency!
On July 11th, the festival's Shoppe will open, where you will be able to trade in coins for Shoppe Points to purchase special prizes. You may either convert your coins for prize points to spend this year, or save your coins for future years.
In addition, the Festival Trophy will be available via the Shoppe, so make sure you pick it up while it is open.
The Grande Tourney
Mayor Minstrel is excited to announce the very first Grande Tourney!
Warriors from across the land have been invited to test their mettle, including you! For the duration of the Festival, results for duels within the Standard and Free-for-All Tourneys will be combined.
At the end of the Festival, the village with the best performance will be crowned Grande Tourney Champion. So do your village and your mayor proud!
In addition to the usual Valor Points, participating in Tourney duels will also reward Royal Coins.
A win rewards two Royal Coins, while a loss rewards one Royal Coin.
The Grande Melee Battleground
If duels aren't your cup of tea, we've also prepared a special battleground called the Grande Melee. This battleground features warriors that you and your fellow players have submitted.
Naturally, many of these warriors are particularly fierce. But fret not, Mayor Minstrel's blacksmiths have forged a special set of weapons that will make even the most novice warrior competitive.
These weapons have been blessed with fox magic to help even a level 1 warrior put up a fair fight.
This chest and the powerful weapons within will go dormant upon Festival conclusion, not activating again until next year.
Royal Coins are among the loot you may get for victory in the Grande Melee.
Events for Explorers
A special event for Explorers is also currently running, and you will find some new Armoured Stones when you encounter it.
Get your armour on!
When used on a villager, these stones will transform them into a special event color. You may also add these stones to your stone collection.
An additional event put together by a certain Royal Fox from Olde Foxbury may also be encountered rarely. It may yield a special item and a possible chance for a few extra Royal Coins. Keep an eye out!
Uncanny.
Additional Bonuses
Until the end of the event, all battlegrounds will be giving double experience. This is a great time to train your warriors and make them the strongest they can be!
Also, Warrior Elixir bundles are 33% off in the Fur Dollar Emporium!

New Warrior Achievements
First, we've added achievement trophies for the Warrior career. Like the previously released career trophies, these will unlock trophies to go on your warrior's profile page.
Olde Foxbury Festival
The remaining updates and testing were all related to the upcoming Olde Foxbury Festival, and this will all reveal itself once the festivities begin.
That being said, we are excited to announce the dates for the Festival!
The Olde Foxbury Festival will begin at noon July 4th, for a duration of two weeks. Details will be announced when the time comes.
Mayor Minstrel is excited to be hosting you all.
I hope your warriors have been eating their nuts and grains!

The downtime will be primarily to perform updates and testing related to the upcoming Olde Foxbury Festival. We estimate it will last a couple hours.
We will have more details about the exact dates for the festival pending successful completion of the downtime.
