Lore:
Phanturns are creatures that are born from concepts and objects. (WIP)
Traits:
Even though this species is supposed to be as diverse as possible, they still have some restrictions between subspecies (and in general; more on that further down)
Things reserved for Staryians:
Transparency
Things reserved for Naturnes:
Animal parts (ex: bird feet, organic wings) and things found in nature (ex: plants, rushing water, waterfalls, etc)
Things reserved for Trashturns:
Being made out of man-made objects (ex: buildings, pipes, wires, etc), inorganic parts (ex: metal, concrete (but not normal rocks!), paper)
Things reserved for The In-betweens
Well, nothing really. Let’s just say that they’re... special cases. Since they’re based on things that are part man-made, and part not, they surpass the rules. For example, Reservoir could have a mane made out of water, and could have things that are man-made as well (such as a dock), and Ghost could be transparent. Another example of what’s considered an In-Between is: animal breeds, since the specific appearances of different breeds were carefully selected by humans over hundreds of years, but they’re still animals. Normal, domestic animals also count (say you make... oh, Chicken, perhaps. Domestic chickens would be considered In-Betweens, but a wild chicken would be a Naturne). The possibilities are endless; go wild!
General limitations:
* No more than 9 tails
* No more than 10 arms and 8 wings
Rules:
Phanturns cannot be feral! They are strictly anthro!
They MUST have at least one of the following:
* head poof
* Arms
* Legs
* Eyes
* Ears
* A tail

And I’m getting somewhere with the species, but it’s still slow-going (mostly because one of the subspecies is devouring my energy; god, they’re so complicated). I’m kinda curious; would you be interested in looking at what I have? It’s alright if you’re not, I’m just curious (and I love making my ideas better with the help of other people)
