The Night Beast is infected with
Lycanthropy. Changes into a beastly monster after exposure to moonlight or especially frustrating board games. Howling at the moon relieves the symptoms for a little while, but use a Golden Apple for best results.
About
Since you're an adventurer, you decide to take a peek inside.
Woken from his nap, a tired-looking dragon glares at you.*
ANOTHER one?? Have people no sense of decency or privacy around here? Sleepwalker was lucky enough to succeed in dragging me here, but I'm leaving the moment another person comes to bother me.
Wh- You barge in here and now expect me to divulge knowledge like that? You're bold. My name is a sacred mystery for a reason. I am the Beast of Eternal Nightmares- but just Nightly will do.
So now you have the audacity to ask of others? Fine, I suppose I'll humor you.
Houzi.... She's very dear to me. Opened my eyes and made me realize I need to live for myself more and let go of the past. Ah, and I suppose, she's also excellent at grooming. Apparently, I don't take care of my fur well enough. It does feel nicer these days, though.
My sister? She means well, and I want the best for her. However, our needs are starting to.. conflict. I don't want to let her down, but I also want to live my own life. I don't know what I'll do. Maybe it'd just be for the best if I had the wedding in private and lived a second life when I can leave Sallentine.
Hum? Oh. Well, we used to look alike. We were human, once, but that was a long time ago. When we left our homeworld we had no choice but to take on a new form.
The Prince of Dreams..... Yes, he makes a for a useful, though more amusing puppet when I fancy breaking him. Other times his mental wellbeing's fun to toy with. Sakura won't remember what happened between them unless I tell her, of course, but it's interesting to watch Percival lose all that sleep over it.
How are you aware of Tycius? He cannot leave our world, after all.... Regardless, he makes for interesting entertainment. There's a surprising number of ways to toy with a ghost living in his past, and in the past 20 centuries he's been around, I still haven't run the books dry.
Ah, the Rose... Wykin has requested I leave him be, though I don't always. He puts up a good fight and makes for good Nightmares, but he's also predictable. Sometimes I pity him- he gets caught up in Dreams and Nightmares quite often and seems to want to be left alone to tend his kingdom.
Espen? That clueless king's not worth corruption. His little assistant, however... Now SHE puts on a good show, hopping about to save that him. Aside from that I have no real interest in his affairs.
Tch. Unfortunately the Harbinger ended up coming around. No, I don't know where he is why do yo- Not the monster harbinger, the Dream-Spinner. Gets on my nerves, that one. I'm not terribly fond of his attitude but at least he takes good care of my sister. After what we've been through, she needs it.
No, I didn't ask to come here- I'm merely present so I can collect on my end of a deal when I return to the Inked Realm.
Never heard of the place? Sallentine is a world of my sister's creation. She values it rather highly, otherwise I wouldn't bother with it. I don't know that her choices were the wisest at the time, but we were desperate. She needs that world now, and I can't bear to be the one to rip her entire world from her the second time. Besides, if I leave for too long I'll get tired- like I am now. If I stay gone too long, I may never wake- and that will mean the death of Sallentine.
Why do I-? I actually don't enjoy being Night Beast. Maybe in the past when I was still full of anger from the wars... But that was so long ago. I wish I could move on, but Wykin still hasn't. I don't know if she'll ever be ready, but I don't know if Houzi will wait on me forever.
But now that I'm reminded of keeping her waiting, I do have places to be. Kindly keep your nose out of my things.
*Nightly gets up and slinks past you, leaving you alone in the eerie cave. A shiver runs down your spine.
Perhaps you best be leaving, too...*

oops. my bad mate, ill be going.
Yuki lowered her ears in anger and scoffed.
"Well, if you want me to leave so badly, call your sibling over, I'd like to see them, thank you."
She stared for a moment.
"In all honesty, I don't know what to say to that."
"Good. I don't like missing out on things."
"I will.. but having siblings surely sounds interesting. I had one, but what I did with them has been kept a secret and will always be. I'd rather not talk about it."
She said with a frown and looking at the floor.
Yuki nodded knowingly.
"Whats it like having a sibling, anyways?"
"Sorry if this is personal.. but who is Sleepwalker? You mentioned them a few times already."
"But... what happened to you? Can you get out of this cave freely? Or are you being put against your will?"
Yuki sat down.
"I see. People do get on my nerves too. But thats just nature, isn't it?"
Yuki stops.
"I can feel that you are quite sad. What is wrong?" She said, slowly coming closer.
