New Paintie Price, Opening Day & Holiday Event

Hello everyone, another quick announcement for you all! Going to cover a couple things here so be sure to give it all a thorough read.
Paintie Prices
Paintie prices will be going up, from the current 100 Fur Dollars to the new price of 250 Fur Dollars. This news post is the 72 HOUR WARNING for you to submit at the current price, after the 72 hours are up, the new price will be in effect. So be sure to get those cuties into the queue ASAP if you'd like to take advantage of the 100 Fur Dollar price!
Opening Day
Furvilla Staff have come to the decision to push back opening day to December 7th 2016, this is going to give everyone just a little more time to be sure that all the little ducks are in a row and we are ready to give a warm welcome to all our new members.
Winter Holiday Event
And last but not least, we will have a fun winter holiday event coming to you on December 14th so be prepared for the festivities! We're all looking forward to our first holiday event and can't wait to share it with all of you! This event will be bringing a new holiday themed site layout skin, seasonal items, new limited Villager colors, and drum roll please 6 new species will be getting a Costume!

The price increase does make sense. Most sites custom content is way more expensive, so while it sucks, it is not unexpected. Can't wait for the holiday event!
i agree the price jump is a bad idea. less people will submit painties and that means less profit for you all. heck, even the "spam painties" give you guys profit so?? why
The event better be online for more than a week, like for a month or so ;v; I have a very important test week and... it starts the 12th >_>

I'm waiting on 3 paintie commissions, which I'm not expecting to get finished within 24 hours. That price increase is so drastic that there's no way I'm going to be able to upload all 3 of them when they're finished now :(
why the price jump on painties? That's just flat out a bad idea? 100 FD was a good price that almost all players were willing to pay, but 250 is not. It's an awkward price and will turn a lot of people away because of it.
It's a good thing I got my paintie in at the 100 FD price. As for opening day, how about making it January 2017 so the new MOD staff can get more comfortable with the system.
I do remain interested in becoming a MOD myself. Just need to be more active before the site opens.

Not sure how holding off opening for only a week will help anything, might be better to have a 2017 launch.
