It's finally here!
The Clawtooth Bazaar, a marketplace where the citizens of Clawtooth bring mysterious delights to trade, is now open for business!
Visiting the Bazaar
You may access the Bazaar from the Town Hall, no matter where in Furvilla you call home. Here, you will find a rotating selection of vendors, trading items from outside of Furvilla's borders. In return, the vendors will ask for various things that have value in lands far from Furvilla.
Vendors may stay for a long while, or may pop in very briefly with rare offerings. Checking the Bazaar often may help you catch a rare find.
As the travelers from Clawtooth are still settling into their new land, they have limited goods to trade, but this selection will grow and grow over the coming weeks and months. Shipments of weapons, animals, plants, magic stickers and more are on their way!

Hello, Scorpion! Hello, Hedgehog!
To start the Bazaar off with a bang, certain vendors are trading ways to create two species new to Furvilla, Hedgehog and Scorpion!
Scorpions and Hedgehogs can be created by using Magic Plushes, Magic Stickers, and Morphing Potions made from special recipes. Each of these things may appear in the Clawtooth Bazaar, with standard Magical Stickers appearing in the Furdollar Emporium.
So many ways to change species!
To help to get you acclimated to trading with the Clawtoothian vendors, most are currently asking for an easily found item, and the official currency of Clawtooth, Paw Print Coin. You may collect more coins by fighting the Spirit Lions in the Battlefields.
Over time, prices may change as the vendors will ask for more varied and rarer items, that they may trade them to other far away lands. Some familiar faces may appear at a later date, trading even more surprises as the Bazaar's inventory grows.
We hope you will enjoy this new site feature, and look forward to new items over the coming weeks.

Treasure Hunt 2025

Ahoy!
I am pleased to announced the start of Oceandome's Treasure Hunt!
The Prize Shoppe(s) will open when unlocked, and will close at 11:59 PM on August 17th.
Now, read on and pay close attention!
Join Your Team
To foster the spirit of cooperation, Oceandome's own Mayor Octavia has decreed that all participants in the Hunt be organized into three teams, independent of which village you hail from.
Octavia has assigned her dear friend, Hammondae, as the Hunt's chief organizer. Hammondae will interview you each one by one to determine which team best fits your personality. What they say goes, no take backs!
Will you be a Deapsea Dreamer, a Kreeping Kraken, or a Seafaring Serpent? Only Hammondae can say.
Once you join your team, you will be assigned a ship and meet your crew. Your crew will welcome you with a special gift, and help you to embark on your adventure!
The Treasure Map
Once aboard your ship, you will be taken to the Hunt's main hub where you see part of a Treasure Map. When the event first starts, the only accessible parts of this map will be links to a Novice Battleground and Contest Isle.

Unlocking More of the Map
There are several additional map locations to be discovered! Each team will compete to discover the next part of the map by contributing Treasure Hunt Helm Fragment to a common pool.
Please note that Treasure Hunt Helm Fragments will not keep their use beyond this year.
Treasure Hunt Helm Fragments are attained as loot from the Hunt's battlegrounds and as drops found by Explorers while doing regular exploring.
Any fragments you contribute will advance your team's progress towards unlocking the next area on the Treasure Map. Once an area is unlocked, every player will have access to that area, regardless of team affiliation.
If another team beats yours to unlocking the next area, don't fret. The progress your team made will be applied to the following area, thus giving your team a head start.
Most the areas unlocked will give you opportunities to do what this event is all about... hunting for treasure!
Your Ship and Crew
When you first join the event, you will be given a simple boat and a crew. Hover over their icons to familiarize yourself with your shipmates.
Every 2 hours, you may send your crew out to sweep the areas around your ship to hunt for treasure and other special items.
Your ship is able to be upgraded twice. Progress on upgrading your ship is made by helping to unlock the Treasure Map by contributing Treasure Hunt Helm Fragments.
With each upgrade of your ship, you will also take on an additional crew member. This means more potential treasure found with each sweep.
Furthermore, each crewmember will give alerts to such events as new map areas being discovered, the crew being ready to search for treasure, your ship being ready for upgrade, and treasure being spotted in various areas of the map.
If personal glory is what you crave, there is a leaderboard to keep track of which ship has contributed the most fragments. You will also receive a special prize at the Hunt's end for successfully upgrading your boat to Tier 3, regardless of where you fall on the leaderboard.

Be sure to check out this year's Contest, brought to you specially by our Seafaring Moderators! Visiting Contest Isle on your map will lead you straight to the fun.
Treasure
Oodles of treasure... the ultimate goal of any treasure hunt, right?
As mentioned earlier, there are two ways to hunt for treasure:
- Sending your crew to sweep the area for treasure every 2 hours. Remember, the bigger the boat the bigger your crew, and the more treasure they will find.
- Searching unlocked areas on the map for treasure. Treasure will spawn in each area in different ways. Each area has a crew member with the ability to automatically alert you to the presence of treasure in their assigned area. So don't neglect on upgrading your boat and growing your crew!
Each team has a different pool of treasure that may be discovered by your crew with each sweep. However, your team does not effect which treasure you may discover in the areas of the treasure map.
So in the end, what do you do with your treasure?
You can convert it to Plunder Points! Plunder Points are currency which you will be able to spend on prizes at the end of the event. You may select treasure you want to convert via the link on the event page, or directly from your inventory.
NOTE! Unspent Plunder Points are lost forever, so make sure to spend them all before the festival ends!

Scheduled Downtime Tomorrow, July 24th

Hi everyone!
Furvilla will be undergoing a brief scheduled downtime tomorrow, July 24th at around 8pm Furvilla Standard Time (FVT).
The purpose for this downtime is to finish final preparations for the Ocean Dome Treasure Hunt, which will begin as soon as we come out of downtime.
We do not expect this downtime to last very long.
Clawtooth Bazaar Update!
Please accept our apologies over the slow release of the new Clawtooth Bazaar content. We are in the last stages of preparation and expect to have a beta test up and running during the Treasure Hunt, so folks are most likely to be logged in to see it.
We have a special surprise planned during this beta test... a rolly, prickly, pinchy, crawlie surprise...
Oh, also! Chief Clawtooth wanted us to make sure to tell you that Paw Print Coins are a "pretty nice thing to have in storage right now". His Lion Warriors are more than happy to yield some of their own coins to you, should you beat them well.
We will have more info as that time draws closer, thank you for your patience, it is greatly appreciated.

The Grande Tourney

Come one, come all!
The Tourney's Prize Shoppe will open on Saturday, May 31st, and will close at 11:59pm on Sunday, June 15th.
At the end of the Festival, the village with the best performance will be crowned Grande Tourney Champion.
Festival Currency
Royal Coins are the official currency of the Tourney, and may be earned now through 11:59pm on June 8th.
Solid gold!
When the Tourney's Prize Shoppe opens, you will be able to trade in coins for points to purchase special prizes. You may convert your coins for prize points to spend this year, or save your coins for future years.
Ah, but a sampling of what will be available this year!
Once you convert your coins, you cannot get them back.
The Grande Tourney - PVP
For the duration of the Festival, results for PVP duels within the Standard and Free-for-All Tourneys will be combined.
In addition to the usual Valor Points, participating in PVP duels will also reward Royal Coins. A win rewards two Royal Coins, while a loss rewards one Royal Coin.
The Grande Melee Battleground
If PVP duels aren't your jam, you may spar in the Grande Melee. This battleground features warriors that you and your fellow players have submitted.
Naturally, many of these warriors are particularly fierce. But fret not, Mayor Minstrel's blacksmiths have forged a special set of weapons that will make even the most novice warrior competitive.
These weapons have been blessed with fox magic to help even a level 1 warrior put up a fair fight.
Grande Melee Chests can now be found on the main page of the event, go check it out!
This chest and the powerful weapons within will go dormant upon Festival conclusion, not activating again until next year.
Grande Melee Loot!
As in previous festivals, the Tourney's Prize shop will offer the chance to obtain previously released weapons through a special chest.
I'm available in the prize shoppe yearly!
Since the Tourney has had many weapons available, some weapons will be re-released not through the above chest, but through the Grande Melee Battleground. These include various Claws, Glaives, Mauls, Plate Armour and Tunics.

Good or Evil?

Well hello there! How are you feeling today? Good? Bad? Both are valid.
You may find help expressing your feelings with a new permanent Explorer event, which will reward you with various items, depending on the way you feel.
The very essence of good and evil... which will you choose?
Choose wisely, as you are not able to trade good vials for evil, nor evil vials for good. You must collect them yourself as needed.
A delicate balance.
Scheduled Downtime
Furvilla will be going into a scheduled downtime on Thursday, May 22nd at or around 5:00pm Furvilla time.
The purpose for this downtime is to finish final preparations for the Olde Foxbury Grande Tourney. The event will begin as soon as downtime is over, so get your weapons polished!
"I can't wait to bring my pets to the festivities! They had better behave this year."
We do not expect this downtime to last longer than an hour, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Please follow us on Bluesky for updates should any such circumstances occur.

Welcome to the Warehouse Exchange!

Hi everyone! We are releasing a new site feature today, the Warehouse Exchange, run by one of the Traveler's own employees, Tikki the Hedgehog. Tikki hails from the far away land of Clawtooth, and is part of a band of merchants who plan to soon call Furvilla their home.
Hi!
Visit Tikki in the Warehouse each day to receive a Warehouse Exchange Ticket. Collect enough of these tickets, and you may select from various mystery crates and goodie bags.
Shiny!
If you are lucky, you may also find additional Warehouse Exchange tickets throughout Furvilla, while engaging in normal tasks.
The crates and goodie bags found in the Warehouse are filled randomly with useful, rare, and not-so-rare items from Furvilla. While there is nothing new inside, you may find something unexpectedly old.
Oooh what's inside?
Coming "Soon"... the Clawtooth Bazaar!
Our team has been working on another major site feature, the Clawtooth Bazaar, for some time now. We are working hard to have this trading-post style marketplace up and running by this Summer.
At the Bazaar, you will be able to trade your excess goods for never-before-seen rare items found in other lands, outside of the borders of Furvilla. That 100th item you pulled from the Daily Wheel may not be worth that much to you, but it may be very much in demand in other lands.
Just a sneak peek! Are those new species potions?
From stickers, to weapons, outfits, animals, and magical morphing potions, the Clawtooth Bazaar promises to be a bustling marketplace where you never know what you will find day to day.
