I just realised, I think the love of okuyasu, josuke and just part 4 in general is because of the duwang scanlations lmao
btw, if you read the duwang scans (im sure you did because duwang scans is basically a rite of passage for jojo fans) what is your favourite quote? i love duwang memes and references, they are godlike
If youre confused duwang scans are basically a scan-and-translation of Diamond is Unbreakable done by a bunch of chinese jojo fans for their english school project done in a span of a month. it was such a bad scanlation with broken english and even had untranslated bits and pieces of chinese texts. The teachers ultimately failed the students. If you read the manga, for years that scanlation were the only readable scans and it's been a meme for years until VIZ finally released the official translations, but the damage was already done and countless jojo fans have made jokes and shitposts about it. It's amazing and hilarious, you should definitely check it out and kill time reading that before the vento aureo anime releases :D
AAAAA i love okuyasu as well! Why are all the brojos so loveable? I mean speedwagon, okuyasu, foo fighters (F.F) and yasuho are all sidekicks of the main character that i really like because theyre so pure ;w; you just can't hate them...
Pillar men were good concepts to begin with (it was a really nice backstory of how they branched off between the evolution of humanity and the pillar men), but their introduction of the three surviving pillar men didn't feel as memorable as say, part 6's Pucci where he wanted to attain heaven and his interesting backstory connecting with Weather Report's stolen memories. I thought ACDC and Kars' character especially was poorly written as they just want to take over humanity, but I think Wamuu was an exception because of the amazing character development during the chariot fight with Joseph after Ceasar's death. I was super excited over that fight, it was one of the chapters where you had to read over and over because of how cool it was. i really liked Kira's character as well because he is a villain who hides away from society dealing with his tendencies to kill women, and the situation he gets put in is what makes him so interesting. I wish there were more villains like that. I think Kira is one of my favourite characters overall of his personality, his way of thinking and his simple yet memorable design as well with the skull motifs. Plus, his stand name is Killer Queen, and I'm a huge Queen fan to begin with xD Probably why i like Pucci as well, because his stand is also named Made in Heaven which is another Queen song I absolutely adore.
NuclearFusion I LOVE SPEEDWAGON SO MUCH he's so underrated, what a good and pure bean, I'm happy that he lived a long and satisfying life bc lets face it, hardly any other characters get that opportunity LMAO adfjshd Part 4 is awesome, I'm quite the Okuyasu fan I gotta admit, he has that rough round the edges with a good heart thing that I just adore in a character ;u; (also The Hand is just a really cool Stand ahh) KIRA THOUGH what a good villain??? I totally get what you mean here, villains with depth are SO IMPORTANT and like... Even the Pillarmen had their history and the wish to restore their ranks instead of JUST taking over the world and yeah, I just appreciate Araki's creation through and through tbh ;U;

My favourite part has to be part 4 because i ust love everyone in that part so much, especiallu josuke (hes ny favourite jojo next to johnny) and kira as well, hes such a well written villain especially for a manga written in the late 80's-early 90's. For my favourite character I love part 6's villain Pucci or part 4s Kira. both arent just villains who has a lust for power and theyre interesting overall because of their situation they are put in. i also love speedwagon or F.F, theyre both side characters but theyre both just so sweet :D
NuclearFusion Yes, I love it! Looking forward to Part 5 sooooon~ ;u; Man, its so hard to choose... Phantom Blood will always hold a special place in my heart, but the part I've probably watched the most is Stardust Crusaders :') My favourite JoJo is Jonathan but my favourite overall character... I have no idea, I love so many :'D
