Update 1
Called up and asked about it, Grandpa wasn't there, but I talked to Grandma. Shot in the garden, hang on wall, taken down. (for unknown reasons, but most likely because of guilt)
Update 2
I was having a conversation with my aunt at brunch, and we got around to talking about that old skin. She said he was extremely superstitious about the pelt, native American lore, and... me, ever since he met me.
Paranoid and stuff.
Udate 3: The cougar was killed on my birthday. Welp...
