Change Log

  • Driftwood has a small chance to drop during regular explorations.

  • Maps 1 and 7 now give significantly more driftwood.

  • Loot Caves now drop a single piece of driftwood.

  • Ocean Dome medicines temporarily have a 20% chance to drop (each) in Ocean Dome's loot cave. These will only be available until medicine prices have stabilised.

  • All magical plushies in the plunder shop will have their cost reduced from 200 to 125 points shortly.

  • Maps now only take 3 minutes to craft instead of 10.

  • Treasure maps now only require 25 fragments to make instead of 30.

  • You can now find a single treasure map fragment in the loot caves. (May have been sleeping at launch Zzz...)

    As a side note - you'll find getting plunder is easier as the festival goes on, so please don't feel too discouraged! Feel free to contact me with any concerns!

  • Just a quick note:

    Medicine should now provide immunity to sickness, where 5% potency = 2 minutes of immunity, up to 40 minutes at 100% potency.*

    Additionally, low-potency medicine should always work now.

    *This may not yet work for warrior-related sickness just yet.

  • The Perfected Steel Plate recipe now has a 7% chance to be found when creating Steel Plate.

    Intimidating Roar no longer reduces endurance until the carry-over bug has been resolved.

    Caeo's abilities are now limited to one cast each.
    - He will no longer cast Fatal Flurry.
    - He will no longer heal.
    - He will no longer use Thatcher's Amulet.
    - He will no longer cast Hidden Defensive Stance.
    - He will now cast Static Electricity.
    - He will now use a Lightning Staff attack regularly.
    - He will now cast Flail.
    - His description has been updated.

  • Quick Update:

    The Legend's Armour now only provides 20 endurance, instead of 25.
    It now reduces speed by 2.
    It now reduces agility by 5.
    It now provides an additional 20 resistance to all elements.
    It's passive heal effect now restores 150 health per turn, regardless of modifiers, to your opponent.

  • Hale's ring now correctly provides 200% bonus damage.

    WARNING: Please note there may be many changes to equipment over the next few days.

    Clothing Changes

    Basic Clothing now has 35 mitigation instead of 25.
    It now has 50 fire resistance instead of 40.
    It now has 40 frost resistance instead of 20.
    It now has 40 lightning resistance instead of 20.
    It now also provides 1 agility.

    Comfortable Clothing now has 70 mitigation instead of 50.
    It now has 70 fire resistance instead of 40.
    It now has 50 frost resistance instead of 30.
    It now has 50 lightning resistance instead of 30.
    It now also provides 2 agility.

    Reinforced Clothing now has 120 mitigation instead of 75.
    It now has 100 fire resistance instead of 40.
    It now has 60 frost resistance instead of 30.
    It now has 60 lightning resistance instead of 30.
    It now also provides 3 agility.

    Winter Clothing now has 110 mitigation instead of 60.
    It now provides 200 frost resistance instead of 100.
    It now also provides 4 agility.
    It now also provides 2 speed.

    Robes Changes

    Wizard Robes now provide 2 endurance.
    It now also has +50 to all resistances.

    Quality Robes now provides 120 physical mitigation instead of 60.
    It now provides 140 fire & frost resistance instead of 70.
    It now provides 320 lightning resistance instead of 150.
    It now provides 120 dark resistance instead of 90.
    It now provides 5 intelligence instead of 4.
    It now provides 2 agility.
    It now provides 3 endurance.
    It now requires level 15.

    All other robes have received +25 to all resistances, and +30 physical mitigation.



    Leather Armour Changes

    Basic Leather Armour now provides 65 physical mitigation instead of 40.
    It now provides 40 fire resistance instead of 15.
    It now provides 60 frost resistance instead of 25.
    It now provides 1 strength.
    It now provides 1 speed.

    Standard Leather Armour now provides 120 physical mitigation instead of 80.
    It now provides 60 fire resistance instead of 15.
    It now provides 90 frost resistance instead of 35.
    It now provides 2 points of strength.
    It now provides 1 point of endurance.

    Reinforced Leather Armour now provides 190 physical mitigation instead of 120.
    It now provides 110 fire resistance instead of 40.
    It now provides 140 frost resistance instead of 50.
    It now provides 40 lightning resistance instead of 10.
    It now provides 2 points of agility instead of 1.
    It now provides 2 points of strength.
    It now provides 2 points of endurance.

    Dark Leather Armour now provides 230 physical mitigation instead of 120.
    It now provides 30 to all non-dark resistances.
    It now provides 240 dark resistance instead of 90.
    It now provides 4 agility instead of 1.
    It now provides 2 speed instead of 1.
    It now provides 5 endurance instead of 1.

    Light Leather Armour now provides 230 physical mitigation instead of 120.
    It now provides 4 strength instead of 2.
    It now provides 7 endurance instead of 1.
    It now provides 110 to all resistances.

    Improved Leather Armour now provides 260 physical mitigation instead of 190.
    It now provides 4 agility instead of 2.
    It now provides 2 strength.
    It now provides 3 speed instead of 2.
    It now provides 4 endurance instead of 1.
    It now provides 140 fire resistance instead of 60.
    It now provides 190 frost resistance instead of 90.
    It now provides 60 lightning resistance instead of 20.
    It now requires level 15.

    Plate Armour Changes

    Rusted Plate armour now provides 120 physical mitigation instead of 80.

    Iron Plate armour now provides 240 physical mitigation instead of 120.
    It now provides 4 endurance instead of 2.

    Steel Plate armour now provides 320 physical mitigation instead of 160.
    It now provides 6 endurance instead of 2.
    It now reduces lightning resistance by -150 instead of -300.

    Silver Plate armour now provides 360 physical mitigation instead of 200.
    It now provides 6 endurance instead of 2.

    Gold Plate armour now provides 480 physical mitigation instead of 240.
    It now provides 6 endurance instead of 3.

    Perfected Steel Plate now provides 600 physical mitigation instead of 260.
    It now provides 10 endurance instead of 3.
    It now requires level 15.

    Serpent Scalemail

    All Serpent Scalemails have had their physical mitigation increased by 70.
    They have all had their endurance increased by 3.
    All resistance scores have increased by 50.

    Event Items

    Delilah's Frozen Scalemail now provides 260 physical mitigation instead of 170.

    The Legend's Armour now provides 600 physical mitigation instead of 400.
    It now provides 25 endurance instead of 15.
    It now provides 2 points of strength.
    It no longer reduces speed.

    Wandering Monster Changes

    Most "lesser" and "regular" versions of wandering monsters have had their stats improved slightly.

    Battleground Changes

    Wandering Monsters IV: Candy Corn drops 10% less often, but you'll receive 2 instead of 1.

    Rank 4 Town Battlegrounds: If candy corn drops, you'll receive 2 instead of 1.

    NPC Changes

    All of Bessie's stats have doubled. She is now level 3.

    Caeo is now slightly less enigmatic.

  • Damien's strength has been reduced to 9 - 15 instead of 15 - 20.

    Vali's Golden Hammer's drop rate has doubled.

  • Charlotte's Counterspell & Hidden Flames will now correctly reduce all spell damage to 0, in addition to dealing damage.

    Quake can no longer be dodged.

    Frost Spike no longer restores your opponents charges due to a bug.
    It now deals 330 - 370 frost damage, and 100 - 170 physical damage; while technically a buff, this means this attack can now be dodged (making it less of a consistent source of free damage).

    Terrifying Frost now only deals 240 - 370 frost damage. However, if they are terrified, they'll take an additional 270 lightning damage.

    Ginnifer's Cursed Scalemail now only reduces dark resistance by 75, instead of 100. It now deals 170 damage per turn, instead of 220.

    Delilah's Frozen Scalemail correctly provides 900 frost resistance instead of 800.

    Fire Form now decreases frost resistance by -1350 instead of -1000.

    Backlash Amulet now deals 460 - 550 damage instead of 600 - 650.
    This will likely be reverted after resistances have been re-evaluated.

    Fang Spear now deals 90 - 110 lightning damage instead of 55 - 75.
    It now provides 4 speed instead of 3.
    It now provides 1 agility instead of 0.

  • The glitch that was causing the Magic Stickers to lose their Use feature has been resolved.

  • Aeron's Folly now provides 2 intelligence instead of 1.
    It now provides 3 endurance instead of 2.
    It now provides 50 fire resistance instead of 25.
    It now reduces speed by 7.
    The self-damage it causes is now 1200 frost damage, down from 2000.
    -> However, it now deals 400 pure damage if this effect is triggered.

    Looking for feedback here - this should allow the item to remain useful in PvE while giving players a chance to counter it in PvP, we'll see how we go.

    Terrifying Frost now deals 410 - 640 damage instead of 440 - 780.

  • Delilah's Frozen Scalemail now only provides 900 frost resistance, down from 10000.
    It now provides 150 fire resistance, up from 50.
    It now provides 170 physical mitigation, up from 120.
    It now reduces strength by 0, instead of -4.
    It now increases intelligence by 2, instead of 4.
    It now provides 1 speed, instead of 0.
    It now reduces agility by -2 instead of -4.
    It now provides 75 dark resistance, up from 0.

  • Rowan's Scythe now has a small amount of physical damage, and can now be dodged. This should let you use it as your only offensive item.

    Earth Amulets can no longer be dodged, as intended. As an unintended side-effect, potency no longer provides them with bonus damage; we'll look to fix this in the future.

  • Warrior Elixir Drops

    Lone Wolves has a 4% chance to drop a Warrior's Elixir.
    Dire Wolves has a 7% chance to drop a Warrior's Elixir.
    Alpha Wolves has a 12% chance to drop a Warrior's Elixir.

  • NPC Changes:

    Dire Wolves

    Alva now only has 250 fire resistance instead of 1500.

    Aureia now has randomised stats 1 - 12 instead of 1 - 15.
    Her resistances are now randomised between 0 - 150 instead of 0 - 200.

    Caeo now has 500 - 600 mitigation instead of 1500.
    He now only has 9 - 11 intelligence instead of 9 - 14.

    Saul no longer uses Grand Healing or Critical Strike.
    He now uses Restore I instead of Restore II
    He is now less likely to use healing spells.

    Terl will now only parry twice instead of 3 times.
    He now has 6 - 9 strength, instead of 10 - 12.
    He now has 9 - 12 agility, instead of 6 - 9

    Alpha Wolves

    Alrowi no longer performs critical strikes.

    Alure now has 5 - 7 speed instead of 10 speed.
    She now has 30 intelligence instead of 40.
    She will now only cast Flame Sunder/Chaos Flames once per battle, each with a 25% chance to be cast.
    She will otherwise cast Fireball.

    Damien now has 15 - 20 strength instead of 20 strength.

    Peaches now has 0 frost resistance instead of 5000.
    She now has 25 endurance instead of 30.
    She now has 17 intelligence instead of 20.

    Sophie is unchanged.

    Vali now has 30 endurance instead of 40 - 45.

    Skul no longer uses Hidden Berserk.

    Battlefield Changes

    Lone Wolves
    You are now less likely to encounter Sorrow, and more likely to encounter Loreley and Mochi.

    Alpha Wolves
    You'll now get two slabs instead of one, if you would receive a particular slab.

    Skul & Vali show up roughly half as often.

    Drop rate for Kitsunes across all battlegrounds has increased.

  • Crystal Changes

    Weapon Crystal Template has changed:

    It now requires 3000 Rusted Steel, 1100 Crystallized Tooth, 390 Silver Wrist Hook, and 2 Shadow Slime.
    (Was 3400 / 1500 / 430 / 3, respectively).

    Additionally, it is no longer possible to create the following items:
    Power Crystal, Frost Crystal, Lightning Crystal and Dark Crystal.

    The Recipe now has the following crystal chances:

    Power Crystal +1 - 25%
    Fire Crystal +1 - 22%
    Frost Crystal +1 - 18%
    Lightning Crystal +1 - 16%
    Dark Crystal +1 - 7%
    Power Crystal +2 - 2%
    Fire Crystal +2 - 2%

    (Was 2200 / 700 / 220 / 2, respectively).

    No crystals have been removed from this recipe.

    Utility Crystal Template has changed:

    It now requires 7000 Rusted Steel, 3000 Crystallized Tooth, 1200 Silver Wrist Hook, and 5 Shadow Slime.
    (Was 9000 / 3600 / 1500 / 6, respectively).

    This recipe no longer incorrectly has a small chance of creating the Fusion Crystal. It instead can create the following crystals:

    Solid Crystal - 25%
    Frigid Crystal - 25%
    Flame Crystal - 25%
    Shock Crystal - 25%

    Ring Crystal Template has changed:

    It now requires 600 Rusted Steel, 300 Crystallized Tooth and 90 Silver Wrist Hook.
    (Was 1200 / 600 / 170 respectively).

    No crystals have been removed from this recipe.

    Armour Crystals:

    New armour crystals have been added, and are available as loot from event battlegrounds:

    Fractured Crystal - Provides 10 mitigation.
    Warm Crystal - Provides 8 fire resistance, and 2 resistance to everything else.
    Solace Crystal - Provides 1 endurance.

    Additionally, the following crystals have changed:

    Endurance Crystal - Now provides 3 endurance instead of 2.
    Brutal Crystal - Now provides 2 endurance instead of 1.

    Utility Crystals:

    A new crystal has been added:

    Flawed Solid Crystal - Provides 3 mitigation, and 1 to all resistances.

    Ring Crystals:.

    A new crystal has been added:

    Minor Crystal of Defense - Provides 5 mitigation.

    Additionally, the following crystal has changed:

    Longevity Crystal - Now provides 2 endurance instead of 1.

    Please note that these crystals are designed to be placeholder crystals to help players utilise socket slots more easily while they work towards crafting better crystals.

    New Crafting Recipes

    A new experimental system has been added that lets you consume lower tier items, plus materials, to craft new, more powerful, items.

    Please note there is a minor display bug that may indicate you have more than one item when you do not. The recipe will fail if you attempt to craft an item without sufficient resources - this specifically applies to recipes that want multiple of the same equipment item.

    Enhanced Recipes:

    Improved Reinforced Leather Armour Schema:
    - You have a 4% chance to acquire this recipe when crafting Reinforced Leather Armour.
    - You have a 2% chance to acquire this recipe when crafting Standard Leather Armour.

    Quality Robes Schema:
    - You have a 3% chance to acquire this recipe when crafting Robes.
    - You have a 1% chance to acquire this recipe when crafting Basic Robes.

    Perfect Steel Plate Schema:
    - You have a 2% chance to acquire this recipe when crafting Steel Plate.

    Flawless Steel Buckler Schema:
    - This recipe drops from the new battleground.

    Superior Steel Heater Shield Schema:
    - This recipe drops from the new battleground.

    Staff Infusion: Light Trinket:
    - This recipe is available from the Recycle Shop.

    New Battleground should be up tomorrow with crystal & recipe drops.

  • Added a new intermediate sparring ground. This new area primarily drops food items.

  • Feast Mini Pet prizes will no longer have limited breeding charges. Everyone enjoy!

  • Bovine and Chicken Morphing Potions are now stocking in the Recycle Shop so go and spend those Fur Gems!

  • Olde Foxbury Festival NPC Events have now been made available to all villages for the rest of the Festival! We hope you all enjoy the chance to meet these fun new characters during your exploring. And for those of you that moved Villages to meet the new NPCs, feel free to head on back home if you're feeling homesick.

  • A new General Infraction has been added to combat intentional avoidance of Warrior captchas so be sure to take a look and safe battling everyone!

  • Prohibited Content rules regarding drugs and alcohol have been updated "Do not discuss or encourage illegal use of drugs or alcohol on Furvilla, or attempt to solicit drugs or alcohol." These are considered a mature topic and will now be restricted to the 18+ forum areas of the site.

  • Fur Idol Rules have been updated and new Fur Idol Infractions have been added, please be sure to take a look at both.

  • Costumes can now be applied to Villagers that already have a Paintie, which means putting a costume on a Paintied Villager will no longer force you to remove the Paintie first.

  • A lot of the Snow Festival content has been added! The Snow Festival itself, however, will not begin until noon on the 14th.

  • We've just finished moving our villager files to a slightly neater home - there was a small hiccup in the move which may have resulted in incorrect thumbnails being displayed for a short time, but this should now be fixed. If you're still experiencing display issues please try a hard refresh (ctrl+f5) and clearing your cache - if it persists please do report the problem.

  • - Villager house remodeling & decoration has been added - you may now Remodel your villager's houses from your Villagers page for 10kFC, which will allow you to decorate it with furniture items.
    - Furniture items can be purchased from the crafting shop of each village.
    - You can visit another villager's house every 5 minutes to get 5FC (and leave 5FC for the recipient villager).
    - You can also leave furniture gifts for the villager, which you may position as you like in their house for them to find and collect.

  • Beta testers have a new exclusive Forum Vista available to them (designed by our very own Mod-Kaleo), it can be found for use under your forum settings in the Vistas drop down.

  • The 10 minute breeding cooldown has been amended to a limit of 50 daily breedings.

  • The cost of painties has been raised from 100FD to 250FD for launch.

  • You can now only breed animals once every 10 minutes (refreshing at XX:00, XX:10, XX:20, etc.).

  • FurCash shops now stock limited quantities of items, and will restock every 15 minutes with varying prices. Adjustments on restocking rates may be made over the next few days so please let us know if you have any feedback, suggestions or issues with the new system.

  • Some cat and fox plushes were missed in the original batch and have been added. In addition, Snuffle Plushes have been added.

  • Magic Gembound Plushes (birthstones) have been added to the FurDollar Emporium for 2050 FD each. Three new Limited Rarity Gembounds have been added - Terra Gembound, Oceanic Gembound, and Beloved Gembound. These do not appear in Gembound Potions. They stock as plushes in the Quest Shop only.

  • Shifty Morphing Potion Recipe has been moved into the Quest Shop, and the recipe changed to request containers and super rare plants from all villages.

  • Chinchilla, Syrian Hamster, Guinea Pig, and Chestnut Horse plushes have been added.
