Change Log

  • Live clock timers have been added to alchemists, animal husbanders, blacksmiths, construction workers, crafters, doctors and tailors.

  • The alchemist's potion stabiliser should now only display morphing potions in the selection menu. The bug where moth potions could not be stabilised has also now been fixed.

  • A count down to the next contest has been added to the Fur Idol Manage Entries page. In addition, submission now closes 1 hour prior to the beginning of the next contest to allow moderators time to review entries for inappropriate content.

  • [Bug Fix] Warriors should no longer experience Invalid Token errors - please do let us know if you find problems persist.

  • Captchas have been added to warrior battles to help cut down on botters - we will be adjusting captcha generation throughout beta so please let us know if you have any suggestions or feedback.

  • [Bug Fix] Pagination has been added to stall management - the page should now no longer crash for large stalls. Note that currently, each page is a separate form, so moving between pages will result in any prior modifications being lost.

  • [Bug Fix] Monsters should no longer appear when searching user menageries.

  • - It is now possible to turn off, or group forum subscription notifications into a single alert - this option is available under User Settings.
    - Pings or activity in subscribed threads posted by blocked users should no longer notify you.

  • - Animal Husbanders are now able to drag and drop their stables on the Sort Stables page to re-arrange their stables. The link to the Sort Stables page is found on the villager's Animal Husbandry page.
    - Animal Husbanders and Herbalists can now sort their stables/pots by animal/plant, as well as durability.

  • Auto-scroll in chats has been turned off when not scrolled to the bottom of the chat room. Please refresh the page for this to take effect, or hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) if it's still not working.

  • A 5% sales tax on FurCash sales has now been applied to user stalls.

  • - Added a "domesticate again" button for Animal Husbanders, for when you finish taming an animal and want to tame it again immediately.
    - Added confirmation modal for removing a house from a villager slot.
    - Added currency icons, and a field that displays total cost to the stall purchase confirmation panel for clarity.

  • - Menageries now show the animal's time to next breeding.
    - Menageries can now be searched and sorted.
    - Storage now shows the animal's time to next breeding.

  • - Forum signatures now display a character counter when being updated, and changes can be previewed at the bottom of the page.
    - Forum signature text now wraps correctly, if you are still experiencing issues with signatures stretching the page please try refreshing.

  • Small herbalist update:
    - The seed book can now be sorted and searched.
    - Multi-harvesting and multi-planting no longer show up when the villager is unable to work due to illness.
    - Multi-planting now has a counter that totals how many seeds you have selected.

  • Hiding comments will now correctly decrement the comment count. If you are currently experiencing an incorrect comment counter this can be fixed by commenting or deleting any comment on your profile.

  • Images can now be resized with BBCode by using [img=WIDTHxHEIGHT]URL[/img] - for example: [img=50x50]image.png[/img].

We are trying out table BBCode. For people familiar with HTML, the syntax is similar - [table][/table], [tr][/tr], [td][/td], and [th][/th]. Colspan and rowspan can be set via [td=ROWSPANxCOLSPAN], for example [td=2x1][/td].

Please let us know if you notice any strange behaviours or display issues with the new tags!

  • Tiny updates:
    - Blacksmith layout has been modified to be consistent with Construction Worker layout (crafting section, then repairs section, then maintenance market section).
    - Villagers now have a small green paw icon displayed next to their name on the Villagers page if they have a pet attached to them.
    - Currency icons added to the maintenance market confirmation panel and stall till for clarity.
    - Maintenance Market now displays villager skill level.
    - Villagers with major illnesses no longer show up on the Maintenance Market, and villagers with minor illnesses will be displayed with an icon next to their name.

  • Advanced stall search options are now by default hidden and can be shown by clicking "More Options". It is also now possible to sort stall search results by price while in Browsing Mode (i.e. when browsing by item type rather than searching for a specific item).

  • Fur Idol entries now display entries in order of submission by default, to encourage users to browse all available entries. Entries can still be sorted by order of votes via the drop down menu on the View Entries page.

  • Chat room user list now displays in alphabetical order.

  • You can now block villager painties that you don't wish to see around the site - the block button is available on the paintie panel found on the villager's profile. This will "strip" the paintie for you and display the default villager image.

  • [Bug Fix] Clicking "Move Messages" while viewing Conversations with no messages selected should no longer result in an error.

  • The Animal Husbandry costume buff now increases chance of a successful collection by 10% (rather than domestication).

  • The item museum now displays equipment information such as element, stats, wins required to equip, and base maximum durability.

  • User and villager gender fields can now be completely hidden from your profile. This can be done from Edit Profile or from the villager edit panel, respectively.

  • It is now possible to disable custom forum fonts and signatures - this option is available under the Forum Settings page. Custom fonts and signatures are enabled by default.

  • It is now possible to subscribe to receive a notification whenever the change log is updated. This option is available under User Settings and is turned off by default.

  • Messages, trades and transfers should now also accept the user's username.

  • Apologies for the radio silence on the change log for August - here are a few other changes that've been made so far this month:

    • Herbalist's harvesting, inventory & morphing potions received minor recodes. Ideally you shouldn't notice any changes, but please do report any new bugs or errors that might pop up.
    • Fixed that bug where trying to reply to a thread would take you to a random villager's page.
    • Reformatted the forum page layout slightly to improve display on alternative browsers. Signatures over 300px tall will also now have any overage hidden.
    • Item quantity selection drop down menus have been trimmed for when you have stacks of over 100 items - when displaying quantities exceeding 50 it will only display numbers in 50 unit intervals. This is to fix browser lag issues.
    • Some improvement of admin tools & functionality, including an anonymous staff PM feature for moderators.
    • BBCode has been restricted in chats to only allow bold, italic, underline, and links.
    • It is now possible to enable or disable anonymous transfers in your account options. Anonymous transfers are turned on by default.
    • Transfers can no longer be sent to users who are blocked or who have blocked you.
    • Stable and pot durabilities are now colored on the villager's career page to make damaged structures more apparent.
    • Users can now add a comment when submitting a paintie to the queue. Please use this to add any information you feel might be necessary for approving your paintie.

  • Trades have now been added and can be found as a link in the Town Hall - as always, please do let us know if you run into any issues or bugs.

  • [Bug Fix] Forum bans should no longer restrict access to certain career pages. Temporary forum bans should now be correctly lifted after logging into the site.

  • The .user-comment div on comment pages has been changed to a ul element - this is a quick fix to prevent users from using malformed lists to break pages until we find a more sophisticated solution. Most users should not notice any change, but it will disrupt any custom CSS selecting div.user-comment - we apologise for the inconvenience.

  • Ferret species renamed to Mustelid. Giant Otter added. Chinese Water Deer added. African Wild Dog revamped.

  • Dragon Tail Sword has been updated to require 50 wins before equipping (to make it a better upgrade from a Dragon Tail Knife).

  • Animal Husbandry logs now show which animal was domesticated (or failed to be domesticated).

  • [Bug Fix] Warriors with the Warrior +DMG buff should now display buffed base damage while in battle.

  • [Bug Fix] Wanderers should now no longer leak into the latest paintie section.

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed a bug where villager costume buffs would sometimes not update when the costume is changed.

  • [BUG FIX] Raptor Morphing Potion ingredients now properly reflect the village the recipe originates from.

  • Slimmed the battle modal down a little for warriors to cut down on the amount of scrolling (just removed some padding and brought HP potions in line with weapons), please try refreshing the page if the old version is still displaying for you.

  • The durability of your current armor should now show up underneath your warrior's HP while battling.

  • It is now no longer possible for villagers with painties to change color via costumes, species potions, or by stripping a costume. If you would like to change your paintied villager's color please first remove the paintie (this can be done from your villager's profile).

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed bug which allowed warriors to battle with a major illness.

  • [Bug Fix] nth-child's been restored to CSS.

  • Added confirmation panels for using species potions and costumes from the inventory.

  • CSS now allows selecting direct descendants.

  • CSS transforms have been implemented - again, please test them out and let us know if anything is not acting as intended. In addition to the earlier animation tools, please do try to use these with consideration for whoever might be viewing your profile - if it's found that CSS is being commonly abused to make browsing user profiles an unpleasant or unsafe experience for other site users it is likely stricter rules will be put into place.

  • [Bug Fix] Numerous CSS bug fixes should now be applied (villager pages breaking, box-shadow breaking, box-shadow and transitions not supporting multiple values, etc.), please double check to see if your CSS is working and feel free to let us know if anything looks broken.

  • [Bug Fix] Accidentally removed some pseudo classes and RGBA in the last update which should now be fixed.
