plus usually he does the "ignored your command" disobeying, so he uses another move anyway and it still does good. but yeah!! i'm really happy that BLAZE is the one remnant of my childhood that isn't just a memory. it's really nice having my long-time partner still by my side.
what i've found strange about BLAZE is that he actually disobeys me far less than other pokemon that are too high level for my trainer. it's either something in the games themselves that cause a pokemon that's been traded around a lot to stop disobeying as often, orrrrrrr it's because BLAZE has recognized me as his trainer and not the one in the game itself.
... i like to believe he knows who i am
it always warms my heart to look at BLAZE's summary and read "Seems to have traveled across both space and time to reach you from the Hoenn region". it's definitely a feat that he's managed to stick with me for 9+ years, and i definitely hope for more to come!
when Ultra Sun/Moon comes out, i'm going to trade him into that file and, even if he doesn't obey me, he and I are going to clear the trials properly!
yep! BLAZE started off in RSE when i got it years ago, and with the help of friends i could trust with him (because i don't have PokéBank and really hate trading him to other people, just in case they try to take him from me), he's been traded all the way up into Sun and Moon!
he's been in Ruby and Sapphire (Hoenn), Diamond and Pearl (Sinnoh), Soul Silver (Kanto and Johto), White 2 (Unova), Y (Kalos), Alpha Sapphire (back to Hoenn), and now he's in Alola!
